What is Tapclob Suspension Composition?

Tapclob Suspension contains Clobazam as the active ingredient.

Each 5ml of Tapclob 10mg/5ml Suspension contains 10mg of clobazam. Other ingredients include: Sorbitol (E420), xanthan gum (E415), acesulfame potassium (E950), raspberry flavour, sodium propyl hydroxybenzoate (E217), sodium methyl hydroxybenzoate (E219), disodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate and purified water

How Does Tapclob Suspension Work?

Tapclob suspension contains Clobazam as active ingredient and Clobazam belongs to a group of medicines called Benzodiazepines. Tapclob works by having a calming effect on the brain.

What is Tapclob 10mg/5ml Suspension Dosage?

Adults (Anxiety and Epilepsy): The usual dose of Tapclob is 20mg (10ml) to 30mg (15ml) each day. It can be taken as two separate doses or as a single dose at night.

Use in children (over 2 years) (Epilepsy): The usual starting dose of Tapclob is 5mg (2.5ml) or 0.1mg/kg each day in divided doses or as a single dose at night.

Use in children (6 month-2 years) (Epilepsy): The usual starting dose of Tapclob is 0.1mg/kg/day in divided doses twice daily.

Elderly (Anxiety): The usual dose of Tapclob for anxiety is 10mg (5ml) to 20mg (10ml) each day.
