What is Syndol Tablet Used For?

Syndol Tablets are used for the short-term treatment of acute moderate pain such as Tension headaches, Migraines, Muscular Aches and Pains, Period pain, Dental pain and muscle pain, which is not relieved by paracetamol, ibuprofen or aspirin alone. What is Syndol Tablet Composition?

Syndol Tablet contains Caffeine, Codeine phosphate, Doxylamine succinate and Paracetamol as active ingredients.

Other ingredients include; Sunset Yellow (E110), Quinoline Yellow (E104) and Lactose.

How Does Syndol Tablet Work To Relieve Pain?

Syndol Tablets contain Caffeine, Codeine Phosphate, Doxylamine succinate and Paracetamol as active ingredients. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic (painkiller) and an antipyretic (it lowers body temperature). Codeine works as an analgesic while Doxylamine is an antihistamine and caffeine acts as a mild stimulant.

Syndol Tablet Dosage

Adults: Take 1 or 2 tablets of Syndol tablet every hour for 4 to 6 hours or as needed for relief. Do not exceed 8 tablets of Syndol tablet in 24 hours.

Children Aged 16-18 Years: Take 1 or 2 tablets of Syndol tablet every 6 hours as needed for relief. Do not exceed 8 tablets of Syndol tablet in 24 hours.

Children Aged 12-15 Years: Take 1 tablet of Syndol tablet every 6 hours, as needed for relief. Do not exceed 4 tablets of Syndol in 24 hours.

How To Use Syndol Tablet

• Syndol tablet should be used orally alone.

• Do not take Syndol less than four hours after taking other painkillers.

• Syndol tablet contains codeine which can cause addiction if taken continuously for more than 3 days.

• Do not take Syndol tablets for headaches for more than 3 days. It can make your headache worse.
