What is Suvitra-500 Indicated For?

Suvitra-500 is indicated as a;

•          Monotherapy: in treating partial-onset seizures with or without secondary generalisation in adults and adolescents aged 16 years with newly diagnosed epilepsy.

•          Adjunctive therapy: treating partial onset seizures with or without secondary generalisation in adults, adolescents, children and infants from 1-month-old with epilepsy. It is also used in the treatment of myoclonic seizures in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy and in the treatment of primary generalised tonic-clonic seizures in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age with Idiopathic Generalised Epilepsy.

What is Suvitra-500 Composition?

It contains Levetiracetam Milpharm 500 mg as the active ingredient.

Suvitra-500 Dosage

As a Monotherapy

Adults (18 years and above) and adolescents (12 years to 17 years) weighing 50 kg or more: Take the  initial therapeutic dose of 500 mg twice daily

Adolescents (12 years to 17 years) weighing below 50 kg and children from 1 month of age: Consult your physician for the appropriate dose.

How to Use Suvitra-500.

•          Follow all your physician’s instructions on how to use Suvitra-500

•          Suvitra-500 comes in film-coated tablets and it must be taken orally and swallowed with a sufficient quantity of liquid

•          Suvitra-500  may be taken with or without food.

•          Do not overdose on Suvitra-500.
