Savlon antiseptic cream is a first-aid treatment for minor wounds, burns, and skin reactions. It helps to prevent infection in cuts, grazes, burns, scalds, shaving cuts, blisters, sores, insect bites and stings, chapped skin, and spots.

Savlon Antiseptic Cream Ingredients?

Active ingredient: Cetrimide 0.5% w/w and Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.1% w/w

Other Ingredients: Cetostearyl Alcohol, Liquid Paraffin, Methyl Hydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl Hydroxybenzoate (E216), Disodium Edetate, Perfume (inc. Limonene, Linalool, Benzyl Benzoate, Citral) & Purified Water.

How Does Savlon Antiseptic Cream Work?

Savlon Antiseptic Cream contains active ingredients Cetrimide and chlorhexidine Digluconate, both ingredients help to stop the growth of bacteria.

Apply Savlon Antiseptic cream 2-3 times daily or as directed by the physician

How to use Savlon Antiseptic Cream

Wash your hands clean and gently apply cream to the affected area.
Do not use Savlon Antiseptic Cream on the eyes ears or genitals

It causes local skin reactions and allergic reactions which symptoms include;
Itching
Redness
Swelling

Savlon Antiseptic Cream Precaution

Avoid Savlon antiseptic cream contact with eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. If Savlon antiseptic cream comes in contact with the eyes, rinse well with water.
If Savlon antiseptic cream is swallowed, contact a doctor.
Do not use Savlon antiseptic cream on the open head or neck wounds, deep wounds, in the genital area, or on the breast if breastfeeding.
