Restinor is used as an emergency contraceptive to prevent pregnancy in women after having unprotected sex especially when not in her safe period or it’s a few days to ovulation. Restinor Dosage?

For Emergency Contraception:

Restinor tablet comes in a strength of 1.5 mg or 0.75 mg.

Take one tablet of Restinor 1.5mg once daily or one tablet of Restinor 0.75mg to be taken and repeated after 12 hours.

For long-term contraception or nonemergency contraception (IUDs)

One IUD is inserted into your uterus by your physician and removed at the manufacturer’s specified time usually 3 to 5 years depending on the brand.

•          Dizziness

Yes, Restinor is safe to use by breastfeeding mothers. However, about 0.1% of the maternal dose of Restinor can be transferred via milk to the nursed infant.
