What is Levofem Used For?

Levofem is an effective, safe, low-dose, combined oral contraceptive pill taken daily to prevent pregnancy.

Levofem Ingredient

Each pack contains Levonorgestrel 0.15 mg + Ethinylestradiol 0.03 mg (21 active yellow tablets) and Ferrous Fumarate 75mg (7 white tablets).

How Does Levofem Tablet Work

Levofem has 21 yellow tablets (0.15mg Levonorgestrel, 0.03mg Ethinylestradiol) and 7 white tablets (75mg Ferrous Fumarate).
Levonorgestrel and Ethinylestradiol prevent ovulation by suppressing gonadotropins.
Levonorgestrel thickens cervical mucus, hinders sperm, and alters the endometrium, preventing post-fertilization pregnancy.
In menopausal therapy, Levonorgestrel with estradiol reduces carcinogenic risk and improves bone density.
Estradiol relieves symptoms and suppresses FSH. Ferrous Fumarate stimulates red blood cell formation, aiding blood health.

Levofem Tablet Dosage

Start with the yellow tablet on the bottom right of the pack on the first day of your period.
Take one tablet every day at the same time for 28 days—switch to the white ones after the yellow ones.
If you’re more than 24 hours late, the contraceptive protection might decrease.
You’ll experience bleeding during the white tablet phase.
Whether the bleeding has stopped or not, grab a new pack of Levofem the day after finishing the last white tablet.
Finish one pack before starting another, and repeat these steps.
