· Lack of muscle coordination

· Dizziness

· Dry mouth

· Heart attack

· Drowsiness

· Congestive heart failure

· Steven Johnson’s syndrome

· Nausea

· Pancreatitis

· Syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH)

· Other side effects not listed may also occur

Can pregnant or breastfeeding women use Carzepin tablets?

There is a risk of fetal carbamazepine syndrome in the first trimester of pregnancy, thus, the use of this medication should only be considered if the possible benefits outweigh the risk of using this medication.

What are the risks of carbamazepine in carzepin tablets?

Carbamazepine may cause serious skin reactions people of Asian/South Asian descent are at greater risks. Also, in some rare cases, carbamazepine has caused serious blood disorders such as aplastic anemia and granulocytosis.
