Serious side effects of Capoten include:

· Little or no urination

· Lightheadedness

· More than usual urination

How do I use Capoten?

· For blood pressure reduction, the recommended starting dosage is 25 milligrams two to three times daily and maybe increase to 50 milligrams 2 – 3 times daily, with a maximum daily dosage of 450 milligrams.

· In case of heart failure, this medication should only be used as directed by your doctor.
