It contains Losartan Potassium as the active ingredient.

How Does Losium Tablet Work?

Angiotensin-II released into the body causes the blood vessels to narrow, which leads to an increase in blood pressure. Losium Tablet functions by inhibiting the binding of Angiotensin-II to its receptors, thereby inducing relaxation of blood vessels and reducing blood pressure.

Losium Tablet Dosage

Take one tablet of Losium Tablet once daily or take it exactly as prescribed by your physician.

What are the Side effects of Losium tablets?

Dizziness
Vertigo
Increased potassium in the blood
Anaemia
Kidney problem.
A sudden drop in blood sugar level
Weakness
Increase in blood urea
Elevation in serum creatinine and serum potassium levels (observed in patients with heart failure).

How quickly does Losium Tablet Work?

Losium Tablet can be seen after about 6 hours of taking it and the effect of the medicine lasts for about 24 hours. However, you may have to take Losium Tablet for about 3-6 weeks to see the full benefits

Is Losium Tablet suitable for use in pregnancy?

Losium Tablet is not recommended for pregnant women especially in second and third trimesters as it may cause serious harm to the unborn baby (fetus).
