What is Ketonal injection indicated for?
It is indicated for pain relief (after surgery or after trauma, menstrual pain, and pain from bone metastases in patients with neoplasms);
It is indicated for the treatment of various rheumatic diseases (rheumatoid arthritis, various types of seronegative spondyloarthritis such as ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and reactive arthritis followed by infection, gout, osteoarthritis, pseudopodarg, and extra rheumatism, including tendinitis, bursitis, and shoulder capsule).
Ketonal injection Dosage
Intramuscular use
One ampoule (100 mg) Ketonal injection should be given intramuscularly once or twice daily. If necessary you can combine Ketonal injections with capsules.
Intravenous infusion
Ketonal Infusion should only be given in hospital conditions. The Ketonal infusion should continue for a period of 1/2 – 1 hour to a maximum of 48 hours. The maximum dose is 200mg of ketonal injection for 24 hours.
