How Does CIPROGEM Work? (Mode of Action)

Ciprofloxacin works by blocking the enzymes bacteria need to copy their DNA and grow. Without those enzymes, the bacteria can’t multiply or survive, which stops the infection from spreading in your body, giving your immune system a chance to fight it off.

CIPROGEM Dosage

The usual adult dose is one 500mg tablet twice daily (every 12 hours), but your doctor will decide the exact dose based on your infection.

Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew it.

You can take it with or without food, but avoid dairy or calcium-rich drinks around the time you take it.
