Precautions
Discontinue use if folic acid deficiency develops, though, you might need to take folic acid or leucovorin to avoid side effects. This product may increase the risks of cancer and should not be taken for more than 2 years.
Interactions
Maldox Suspension may interact with the following drugs and products: Leucovorin, Sulfonamides, and Trimethoprim.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive and those who suffer from any of the following:
Alcoholism, Allergic reactions, Blood dyscrasias, Bone marrow problems, Depression, Fits, Kidney or liver problems, and Megaloblastic anemia. Breastfeeding mothers and Infants less than 2 months of age, should not take this drug.
