swelling of lips and rashes, postural hypotension, dizziness, and vertigo; headache, infection, asthenia, back pain, chest pain, dizziness, somnolence, insomnia, decreased libido, rhinitis, pharyngitis, cough, sinusitis, diarrhea, nausea, tooth disorder, and amblyopia.
Serious side effects include decreased libido, impotence, reduction in the volume of ejaculate, and genital abnormalities in the male foetus of pregnant women exposed to finasteride.
Precautions
Pregnant women should not be exposed to finasteride. This product should not be used by people who suffer from Prostate cancer, Hepatic impairment, and Prostate carcinoma.
Contraindications
It should not be used by pregnant or lactating women, children, and those who are hypersensitive to any of its constituents.
Interactions
This product has shown interaction with products and drugs that contain Warfarin and Cimetidine. It should not be used with other alpha-adrenergic blocking agents.
