Diatab is a sulfonylurea antidiabetic medicine. It is used to lower the blood sugar level in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus which is not controlled by diet and exercise alone.

Directions for Use

Diatab should be taken immediately before breakfast. When the doses are divided, the second dose should be given immediately before dinner.

Dosage for Adults

Initially: 2.5 – 5 mg daily which may be increased to 2.5 – 15 mg daily. Doses less than 10 mg should be given in 2 divided doses daily.

Maximum: 20 mg daily
