What is Avelox used for?
Avelox is an antibiotic that is used in the treatment of;
• Different types of bacterial infections of the skin, sinuses, lungs and the stomach.
• It is also used in the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia, plague, bacterial sinusitis, and chronic bronchitis with a bacterial infection.
Avelox Composition
Each film-coated 400mg Avelox Tablet contains Moxifloxacin hydrochloride-400mg.
How does Avelox work?
Avelox contains Moxifloxacin which is in a class of antibiotics called fluoroquinolones. It works by killing bacteria that cause infections in the body. It is used in patients aged 18 years and above for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by bacteria against which moxifloxacin is active.
Avelox Dosage.
Take Avelox 400mg once daily or take Avelox as prescribed by your physician based on the medication condition.
How long does it take for Avelox to work?
For treatment of skin infections; Take Avelox for at least 7 days.
For treatment of more stubborn infections; Take Avelox for as long as 21 days.
For the treatment of Sinus infections; Take Avelox for 10days to clear up.
For the treatment of bronchitis: it will take only need 5 days of taking Avelox.
Is Avelox safe for use in Pregnant and Lactating Mothers?

What are the Side Effects of taking Avelox?
