Piriton Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 tablet for 4 to 6 hours.
The maximum daily dose should be 6 tablets (24mg) in any 24 hours.
Children aged 6 – 12 years: Take ½ tablet 4 to 6 hourly.
The maximum daily dose should be 3 tablets (12mg) in any 24 hours.
Elderly: Take a maximum of 12mg in any 24 hours)
How to Use Piriton Tablet
• Piriton should be for oral use only
• The elderly are more likely to experience neurological anticholinergic effects, hence the elderly should be given to using a lower daily dose
• Piriton tablet is not recommended for children under the age of 6 years.
