The main active ingredient in Invokana is Canagliflozin, a substance belonging to a group of medicines called sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors.   • Invokana can be taken with or without food. Best taken before the first meal of the day.

  • Before using Invokana, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
