What is carvals Am?
Carvals Am is a high blood pressure medication prescribed to lower blood pressure and lower the risk of strokes heart attacks and kidney problems.
Carvals Am contains Amlodipine and valsartan and they both work by relaxing vessels and easing Blood flow.
Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker while valsartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker.
How do you use Carvals Am?
Carvals Am is to be used by mouth with or without food, usually once a day, with a dosage determined by your doctor.
Side effects of Carvals Am
When you start using this medication, you may experience
· Tiredness as your body adjusts to this medication.
Other side effects of Carvals Am include:
· Swelling in ankles or feet
· Change in amount of urine produced
· Symptoms of high blood potassium.
Is Carvals Am recommended for use during pregnancy?
No, carvals Am is not recommended for use during pregnancy as it may cause harm to the unborn baby. Valsartan in Carvals Am can cause fetal harm.
