Canesten dual action cream is a dermatological medication containing 1% clotrimazole w/w indicated in the treatment of jock itch ( tinea cruris) and athlete’s foot (tinea pedis); and other fungal infections. Clotrimazole is an antifungal component that inhibits ergosterol synthesis in fungi, thus compromising cell membrane structure.
How do I use Canesten dual action cream?
Canesten dual action cream is to be applied 2 -3 times daily to the affected area. Treatment should continue for at least a month to prevent reinfection. Consult your physician should the symptoms not improve after seven days of use.
