How do you use Aldara Cream?

Wash the area to be treated with warm water and then dry with a towel. Apply a thin layer of the single-use packet of the cream to the affected area as directed by your doctor, usually just before you go to sleep for the night. 

Do not cover the treated area with bandages or waterproof coverings. Do not shower or bathe during this time. In the morning, wash the treated area with soap and water to remove the cream. Do not leave imiquimod cream on longer than prescribed and note that this medication should be used on the skin only.
